Toy Drive

This Saturday afternoon I will be DJing a toy drive at the Etsy space in Dumbo. There will be craft projects, food and beverages, and you get to see the inside of Etsy, which is awesome. Parents should bring their kids to make ornaments, and bring a wrapped toy to donate to Housing Works. I love this type of stuff and haven’t had a chance to play for kids since Baby Loves Disco folded, so I’ll definitely be playing fun tunes.

RSVP here. Please add a plus one for each child you plan to bring!

Details after the jump, or visit the Etsy website for more information.

We’re excited to announce our first event for kids at the Etsy Labs! Bring your children to Etsy on Saturday, December 11 from 3 to 5 p.m. for a holiday craft party benefiting Housing Works. We will have craft projects for all ages, snacks galore, and kid-friendly music provided by DJ Ayres of The Rub. The event will also feature the winning color-your-own ornament designs from the Cool Mom Picks + Etsy Holiday Ornament Contest, available for your kids to transform into own holiday masterpieces. The event is free, but we ask that each child bring a gift* for a child in need. Gifts will be donated to Housing Works’ Toy Drive.

*For safety reasons, gifts should be new and in the original packaging. No gift wrapping is necessary.

*This is not a drop off event. Adults should accompany children for the entire event. Some assistance may be required for craft projects.

Where: 55 Washington Street, Suite 512 in Brooklyn, New York, 11201
